Max is one of the brightest new stars of the Mosel, working at his family Geierslay estate with some of the best holdings, traditional single poles, steep slopes and a producer making classic, light wines of the Mosel, with a close friendship with nearby Julian Haart.
 
Mosel Kabinett truely unique, light, balanced and so pure. 2023 is in some ways similar to the 2022s. Perhaps less consistent overall as there was rain during harvest but Max nailed it.
 
The Treppchen is a new wine for 2023 - previously blended or used in wines from the Gierslay portfolio Max felt it deserved its own label.
