The 2022er Kanzemer Altenberg Riesling Kabinett AP 10, the auction bottling with its historic inspired label, was made from fruit harvested at 80°

Oechsle from vines planted in 1954 in the upper part of the vineyard and was fermented down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar (46 g/l). It has

a beautifully smoky and herbal nose of aniseed, lime, flint stone, mint, cassis, fennel, and lime tree. The wine proves straight and refreshing on the

light-weighted and dynamic palate. It proves zesty and full of tension. The finish is already off-dry in taste rather than fruity, and leaves a tart and

sharp edge. This needs a couple of years to develop its complexity and fully shine. 2029-2037
