Each year in september the VDP members gather in Trier to auction their 'best' barrels of wine. We have been attending since 2010 and are delighted to bring a few bottles back to sell in Bordeaux

The 2022er Scharzhofberger Riesling Kabinett with AP 12 (an auction lot) was made from fruit harvested at 80° Oechsle and was fermented down

to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar (50 g/l). It offers a beautifully elegant and finely aromatic nose of white and yellow flowers, fresh herbal

elements, minty spices, vineyard peach, and smoke. The wine is superbly juicy and spicy on the well-focused and playful palate. The finish is long

and refined. This is a great Scharzhofberger Kabinett. 2030-2042
