We are so happy to be working with Leah for a third year and to offer these new wines. L'elephant blanc is a tiny parcel of ancient Grenache, worked entirely by hand, and with insanely low yields.
A white elephant is a kind of troublesome gift, originally in Indian folklore an elephant so rare it can't be used for work, but you still need to look after it (and feed it). So Leah feels about this old plot, yielding so few grapes for so much work - but producing a wine of great elegance and finesse.
