Falkenstein excel with this style of wine year after year. Steely, racy, very pure and long. Spontaneous fermentation like all the wines here with no enzymes of other additives, leads to a 'sponti' nose - showing a little reduction.

The 2022er Krettnacher Euchariusberg Riesling Kabinett Marlies (the reference to this internal cask name is provided in small print on the label)
was harvested from 6-7-year-old vines in the prime Euchariusberg sector of the vineyard, which was classified in the highest category on the old
taxation maps, and was fermented down to barely fruity-styled levels of residual sugar. It offers a superbly aromatic and herbal nose of citrusy fruits,
flintstone, lime, greengage, lime sorbet, and spices. The wine proves superbly well-balanced on the palate and has great fresh fruits packed into
zesty and ripe elements. The aftertaste is already more off-dry tasting than fully fruity and very energetic and pure. 2027-2042
