Each year in september the VDP members gather in Trier to auction their 'best' barrels of wine. We have been attending since 2010 and are delighted to bring a few bottles back to sell in Bordeaux
 
The 2021er Kupp Kabinett Nr. 5, as it is referred to on the consumer label, was made from clean fruit harvested at 81° Oechsle and was fermented
down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar (52 g/l). It offers a vivid nose made of lime, herbs, spices, and floral elements, all wrapped into some
residual scents from the spontaneous fermentation. The wine proves focused and lively on the citrusy and herbal palate and leaves a gorgeous
sense of zesty vibration in the long and focused finish. This is a great expression of racy Saar Kabinett. 2029-2041
