Max is one of the brightest new stars of the Mosel, working at his family Geierslay estate with some of the best holdings, traditional single poles, steep slopes and a producer making classic, light wines of the Mosel, with a close friendship with nearby Julian Haart.
 
2021 was a cool vintage for riesling never mind Pinot, so Max decided to destem and let it macerate a little longer. The result is a quite a powerful Mosel red that will benefit from some time.
