Cyril Alonso doesn't make things easy for himself, this is from an ancient form for Gamay, grown in trees, and the grapes don't grow in bunches rather almost individually. A really thick skin means a lot of grape tannins in this dense concentrated wine that has a bit of port styled bite and tannins without the sugar or alcohol.
