Ormiale is a rare Bordeaux that brings back the elegance that so many have lost these days. Very low yields, meticulous biodynamic work in the vines , fully destemmed by hand, late releases after long slow barrel aging, and a low intervention approach make for great Bordeaux. Only 13,108 bottles.

2018 and 2019 were hot vintages, unavoidably so, but the Ormaile team decided to blend the two after 2-3 years in tank, the result is certainly bigger boned than previous vintages, but it shows remarkable freshness and firm, fine tannins, and also some early secondary aromas from the long time aging in tank.

60% 2018, 40% 2019, 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, as always hand harvested and perhaps uniquely in Bordeaux - fully hand destemmed.
